Healing

​Healing happens in all ways and places, yes in community and, yes, in solitude. It might happen at the bottom of a glass of wine or in absolute sobriety. Addicts and ascetics alike have helped the world heal.
Which way is, in fact, the way to god?
To wholeness?
What if only the soul knows?
(Each of 8.3 billion human souls!)
The excruciating things about being human are many, among them the absence of answers. Wouldn’t it be easier if we had them, if someone could say what to do and when?
(Would we listen?)
Oh to have been born a dog instead, to trust completely a (benevolent?) master.
